John Wayne ~ Angel & the Badman
Suite-4 is a favorite amoung couples, as they can kick back in the evenings, savoring their favorite wine from one of the local wine tasting rooms, maybe have John Wayne's favorite cocktail, or even sip a cup of complementary sleepy time tea and unwind after a day of travel, hiking or exploring and enjoy one of the many favorite classic movies.
This suite was the 1st of two rooms turned into a suite back in the 1940's. It also has one of the original bathrooms with clawfoot tub and large brass showerhead.
The BEDROOM has:
1 queen bed a mirror on the ceiling & sheers draped around the frame cotton sheets, duvet and shams 4" memory foam mattress topper TV, DirecTV with ESPN, CNN, and tons more channels besides the wonderful collection of classic movies there is also a lighted magnifying make-up mirror

The Kichenette/Wet Bar/Sitting Area has: a desk & chair a wet bar area counter height refrigerator microwave wine glasses, wine bottle opener cocktail shaker with shot glass/strainer coffee pod maker for coffee & tea

Round here we only use John Wayne toilet paper
This suite's BATHROOM has its original (restored) clawfoot tub. It also has a large overhead brass showerhead and fixtures. The small wall hung sink is also original. It has refillable organic body wash, shampoo and condition.
For SPECIAL PACKAGES, we will decorate with flowers, bubble bath and other extras for an additional charge. Inquire...
***If you are a large person, this historic hotel suite may not work for you. Even though our units are apartment style suites, the rooms are small. They have been sufficient and have worked for most guests that have stayed here. See our reviews HERE...

Since Mae West stayed here and wooed the locals during the 'Roaring Twenties' and 1930's bootlegging days, we've dedicated this suite to her.
West frolicked through the back rooms and alley-ways of the local speakeasies at the time, running her hands through the mash, ready to be stilled for whiskey. An 'Old Timer' told the story as he was quite smitten with her, like many other Old Towner's. From the stage life of New York's Broadway, West passed through Cottonwood on her way to and from Hollywood on more than one occasion.
