family fun

Bringing the kids
  • If you are going to do wine tasting with children, stop by the Candy Corral 1st to pick up some old-fashioned soda, maybe some popcorn and then head over to the wine tasting room. The Candy Corral has all kinds of old fashioned candy, ice cream, fudge and 40 flavors of popcorn.
  • With your complimentary “Special 4-Pour Wine Flight” at the tasting room (that I will be giving you), you might want to order a cheese tray from them or pair with some chocolate. They only serve wine and water to drink, but you are allowed to take in treats and drinks for the kids from the Candy Corral.
  • Bring back a bottle of wine to your room and watch a video of a locally filmed or kids movie.
  • Walk the Greenway Riparian (2 blocks) to the Verde River (4 blocks). Trails extend into the Dead Horse Ranch State Park (7 blocks) over the 10th St Bridge or this side of the river going to Riverfront Park.
