When coming to Arizona you'll find the Cottonwood Hotel to be the smallest hotel in the whole Verde Valley. It may even be the smallest in the state of Arizona!
Todays upper floor 4 suites and 1 room was formerly 10 rooms and two baths. During World War ll, two of the rooms, plus one of the original bathrooms was converted into a suite (Suite #4). In 1952, the other rooms were joined together to create 3 more suites, all with their own private bathroom. see more about our accommodations HERE
Today the renovated well appointed suites consist of:

The original 10 room hotel was first built in 1917. It was rebuilt in 1925 after a fire devastated and burned most of the town. See more history.
This home-away-from-home, small hotel's accommodations is privately owned. It is operated kind-of-like an inn and somewhat like a vacation rental. It is a small historic very non-traditional hotel. It is set up with a personal touch for the independent traveler, yet can be as intimate as one could hope for, when traveling to an unknown area.
So whether you chose to adventure out on your own or have a personal touch with insights to the best places to go and things to do, the choice is yours. Itineraries can even be tailored to your interest.
