The Cottonwood Hotel
1920's era classic OLD WEST two story box style building with a TOLTEC INDIAN ARCHITECTURE was a popular design around the turn of the 20th century (late 1800's, early 1900's). The large overhead balcony stretches over the Main Street sidewalk and is supported by pillars. You will not find another like it in Old Town or Cottonwood for that matter. The office/lobby area has it's original high ornate tin ceiling.

With a blend of todays modern amenities and homey decor, you will still be taken back in time to its earlier days. Each unit offers affordability, value, space, and privacy, along with a unique experience not found in a traditional hotel setting.

What is an EXTENDED STAY?
An EXTENDED STAY HOTEL has Studio Suites or Apartments with a kitchenette or kitchen versus a traditional hotel/motel room. Weekly rates or longer stays rates are ideal for business travel, temporary work assignments, relocation, leisure & budget vacation rentals.

The small historic Cottonwood Hotel is quite different than your traditional hotel.
Renting:
A Vacation Rental ~ Extended Stay ~ or 2-3 Nights, Weekend Get-A-Ways!
We have rented these primarily as vacation rentals, catering to those seeking an extended stay of at least a week or longer. (Such as vacationers, traveling medical & business staff, those exploring the area or waiting for close of escrow). We SPECIALIZE in Weekly Rates and Short-Term Monthly Rentals.
We get a lot of calls for those wanting to book 2-3 nights and weekend get-a-ways! Reservations for our larger units are sometimes available by calling us. Our smaller studio suites can be booked online at reservations.
We generally DO NOT do long term rentals.
***Our discounted rates do not include housekeeping during your stay.
If you wish to have daily or weekly housekeeping, please let us know at time of booking. A housekeeping fee will be added. ***We do need 48 hours in advance notice for services. Please inquire.
For those not requiring housekeeping services, there is a closet with vaccums, brooms, mops, some cleaning products if needed. There is also a laundry room with coin-opt washer & dryer.

VIEWING PROPERTY - I am always happy to show you an available apartment or studio suite before you make your reservations or rent by making an appointment, just as long as the unit is not currently occupied. MANAGEMENT: Lives on the premises and is available most of the time.
OFFICE HOURS are not kept. The office is ONLY OPEN by appointment for showings or scheduled check-in time.
SECURITY: The entrance going to the upstairs is secure and kept locked.
A LIMITED OCCUPANCY city code is in effect: No more than 10 people are allowed overnight on the WHOLE upper floor. That means no more than 2 people per unit (x5 units), unless otherwise authorized, due to less than 2 registered individuals in another unit. A 3rd person fee will apply.
NONSMOKING: The whole building, upstairs, common areas, and all units are nonsmoking. Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot area or 20 feet from a door or window. SMOKE FREE ARIZONA

Is the property safe? Is the town safe?
For 15 years, that I can speak of, this property has been very safe. It is trouble-free, drug-free, smoke-free, happy and clean. I will continue to do my best in keeping it that way... I do live here and I do have a zero-tolerance for those who would not respect my home.
***I do like to boast the fact that the police have never had to come to our property for a problem. How many other hotels/motels, apartment complexes can say that? The CPD officers have even thanked me on a couple of occasions.
Our entrance door to the upper floor is kept locked at all times, making it secure. We get a lot of repeat traveling single females that make us their preferred choice.
Overall, I have really been very fortunate in bringing in respectful, quiet guest(s) and tenants. It's normally a certain type of individual that seeks out a unique historic property. That's why I can't stress enough, what we are and what we are about.
Downtown 'Old Town' Cottonwood is a very safe small town area.
